Went to the Carleton College Arb this morning at 7 a.m. and checked all the roosts I've seen them in. I didn't see a single Monarch. Stayed for an hour . I had hoped to see them tucked into the trees to keep warm and out of the wind...50 degrees and very windy. I'll check back this afternoon but they may have left for Mexico! I am seeing several Monarchs on flowers in the sun in my own yard.
