After an all night and morning rain and a low of 48F., I went to the Lake Huron beach at Harrisville State Park and observed 3 monarchs. Two were flying low over the beach heading south and the other one was nectaring on some white aster flowers. On my way out of the park I saw 2 monarchs flying among the cedar trees. When I got home as the rain began to come down again, I added 2 male monarchs in my flower garden. Weather was cloudy with rain and the temperature 62F., and the wind WNW-7 mph at 2:15 PM.
