After finding two monarch larvae the other day along the edge East Arcade road, I returned to find some fresh milkweed for these captives.
I came home with the milkweed and two more larvae.
One is 1 3/4 inches long
One is 1 inch long
The large one is eating like there is no tomorrow!
I'm hoping that these larvae will develop at a steady rate in our home as temperatures outside are trending cooler than average and larvae development will probably be slowed down.
