Pleased to report a sighting of a Monarch butterfly nectaring on a butterfly milkweed and echinacea in my backyard flower bed. This was my first year growing the butterfly weed and I didn't think I would see a Monarch, as I've not seen any since about 2012 when a visitor out looking at the garden retrieved one from a spider web.
