First Monarch seen since the spring migration north. Swamp Milkweed is blooming in this location as are many other late summer/fall bloomers such s Frostweed and Cowpen Daisy. This Monarch was flying and periodically resting on Black Willow, which is abundant in the Llano River Bottom.
