Monarch utopia! Adjacent to our school grounds we have a 60 acre field for future expansion. It is covered in milkweed. The monarchs are loving it! We witnessed mating, nectaring, and egg laying. We have found eggs and very young larva everywhere. The monarchs we have seen have very worn wings and even partial wings at times. We will accomplish a count the next time out, but the numbers are very high. Everywhere!! Sunny & clear, temp of 84 F, and no wind.
