Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers

Date: 09/07/2017

Number: 1

Just wondering how long I'll still see the hummers this morning when a female ruby-throated came right up to my face, hovered a few seconds while checking out my brightly colored clothing. Probably new this season if confused by human clothing! It then flitted off and nectared from Rose of Sharon blooms. I am praying that these beauties can be well-fuelled before heading into the Gulf where several hurricanes are likely. Still filling my feeders. Safe travels, little jewels!
