I counted 56 in my yard this morning! All stages of larva. Its a bumper crop this year to spite the many bug problems I have had this year. I started seeing milkweed beetles last year but this year I bet I have killed over 200, the problem with them is that they eat the leaves and eggs if they are on the leaves. I also have a lot of milkweed snails/slugs which I have never had before. See attached picture. I feel like if I hadn't been working on the problem consistently there wouldn't be anything left for the larva.
