I've observed only one Monarch since the spring migration: July 17, seen nectaring in our yard. We usually have a good supply of Milkweed by this time of year, esp. A. viridis, but have only found one healthy, flowering plant of that species this week. We also have a huge base of A. asperula every spring, but have only found one weak plant on our land so far this fall.
