Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/07/2017

Number: 3

We continue to have hummers at the feeders. They will often announce their arrival with a series of squeaks. They spend so much time chasing each other that we put up an extra feeder hoping it helps. One female in particular, perches on a branch near a feeder for long periods of time, standing guard. Up until a couple of days ago, we had an adult male, but now there seems to be two females and a juvenile male. Will be sorry to see them go.
