One immature male ruby throat hummingbird is feeding on the tropical milkweed (Asclepias curassavica), red pentas, Joe Pye weed (Eutrochium dubium), pink autumn sage (Salvia greggii) and the feeder. This hummingbird has been here awhile, and he continues to mature. It appears 1 of his red throat feathers is about ready to start showing. A second and third are beginning to appear.
