I work in Gilmer, TX. I have 2 hummingbird feeders, located on opposite sides of my place of work. We have overhead doors that are open during the day. Three hummingbirds are now living in the shop. I move the feeder outside during the day to try to get them to go out. If they do, they come right back in. Being a business, I can't close the doors during the day. On Fridays I make sure and clean and refill with fresh so they have plenty over the weekend. Here is a picture of one of the hummingbirds. And yes the feeder hangs from a 3 ton crane. Will they migrate south? I'm concerned for them.
