One immature male ruby throat hummingbird has been sighted off and on the feeder since this morning. He has also fed on the red pentas flowers and the pink autumn sage (Salvia greggii). As with the hummingbird I reported yesterday, but who I've not seen today, this bird is beginning to develop what will become his ruby colored throat feathers.
