After an all morning rain, I went to the Lake Huron shoreline to see if any monarchs were migrating on a north wind at 12 mph at noon. No migration was present, so I walked the beach and saw a female monarch on a goldenrod plant. I then went to Harrisville harbor and saw another female monarch on a goldenrod plant. I then went through the park on my way home and added two more monarchs flying about more goldenrod plants. Temperature was 57F. with mostly cloudy skies at 2:30 PM.
