Found 1 larva. It is 2 inches long - ready to pupate, so I took it home along with some fresh milkweed. Our town is mowing the road edges and I think this area is next to be mowed. Also, temperatures are trending cool this year and predicted to remain cool.

In my home the monarch will be able to develop more quickly and be on its way.
