Sightings report image

Date: 09/07/2017

Number: 1

This larva was found on the only healthy A. viridis plant observed on more than 300 acres. The plant held at least 5 eggs, one of which was 'black capping,' in addition to this caterpillar. There seems to be a severe shortage of host milkweed for this time of year.

Editor's note: caterpillar, or larva, is not Monarch larva
