While at my daughter's home in Kingsville around 4 pm-4:15 pm observed at least a dz monarchs, one at a time arrive from the NE & East flitting West. Some were flying low 6-8' above ground & others were way high 100'- 200'.
I am often told by Kingsville residents that during fall migration they observe monarchs mostly along or not far from the shoreline, flying from East to West...not East to Point Pelee but West. 2 had settled in her walnut tree but later dispersed.
Moderate NE wind, high of 18°c clear blue sun shiny sky
