Monarch Waystation #271 reports a 5th instar making its "J" on the underside of my neighbor's townhouse eave this morning, near the roof downspout that we share. I checked on it at dusk and it was still a "J." The "squatter" formed its chrysalis by 6:30 am the next morning, wish I could upload a 2nd photo. This was probably one of the 5th instar cats that previously fed [& stripped] one of two potted tropical milkweeds on the patio.
