Three have been in our yard all summer but now there's an additional hummer. One fluffs himself to be large and chases the others from the feeders. I just haven't been able to positively identify it as a male.
They still nectar on salvias black and blue, Amistad, Wendy's wish and verbena bonarensis.
I'm surprised they're still here but will keep the feeders going for a while.
