My parents were traveling west on I-70 and spotted hundred of monarchs between Topeka, KS and Salinas, Kansas.

Editor's Note: We are receiving dozens of reports from the Midwest of large scale migration, but the butterflies are Painted Ladies, not monarchs. We are awaiting a photo to document this sighting.
