Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/12/2017

Number: 40

I have 9 feeders up that I have to refill at least once a day and all the ports are in use fairly often. My porch looks and sounds like a swarm of bees and I love it! This time of year, the numbers are usually higher in the morning and evening but slower by day. Since Hurricane Irma got close, it seems like the all day numbers have greatly increased and the same hummies have stuck around for a few days. I have one plump male juvie that sits on top of "his" feeder and will not let anyone else near it. Fierce little guy. They will be greatly missed!
