6 Monarchs seen this evening at the Tip Point Pelee National Park. The 1st was seen at 6 pm nectaring on Goldenrod near Sparrow Field north of Tip Restrooms. 3 of the 6 flitted in right at sunset at 7:50 pm.
18°c & overcast skies.
Moderate NE wind/windy East side; beautiful calm glassy West side again allowing the Monarchs easy journey south across the lake.
Goldenrod is senescent; purple asters just beginning to bloom; Woodland Sunflowers at peak bloom.
