Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/09/2017

Number: 2

We were away for these past two weeks. Even though we left all the feeders filled to the brim when we left, needless to say they were empty when we got home. I'm not sure if that hastened my babies' departure, although there are ample nectar-rich shrubs, vines and flowers throughout the yard.

Anyway, there was a female at the feeder in the front yard and another at the feeder near the St. Francis statue this past Saturday --- haven;t seen any since then, so this is likely my final report this Fall...will leave the feeders up the rest of this month for any late migrating ones.

Winter well and come back next Spring - I'll be waiting and so will the feeders!
