I was able to keep both of my feeders up and full for the duration of the time Tropical Storm Irma was pounding on us here (moved under the porch roof slightly to provide a little protection from wind & rain). Lots of birds took advantage of the food and shelter - never seen them look so fat with their wet, fluffy feathers! They would just hang out on the feeders and rest. After the storm passed, it was like it never happened. Just as many birds as before.
