Hastings NE both my husband and myself have never seen such a display. Mom says grand island ne also has many. Up until today we have had zillions bumping into you as you're walking. They are thick in the air utilizing clematis butterfly bushes various flowering. On Hastings college campus many also!! We've lived here since 1990 & are amazed at their numbers!!! It is such back display. Wondering if fires or hurricanes have made difference in pattern of migrations!
