Thus is a photo of what my daughter -in law sent from Surfside beach,Tx. My son and family are 3 blocks from gulf of Mexico and have been seeing a steady flow of Ruby throats since Sept.5,2017. The feeders have to sit on deck because of wind swaying them too much.
We in Houston have been seeing a mix of females, adult males, sub adult males and occasional female broad tails. 1 sub Rufous still here. I have never seen such a steady flow of at least 6 male Ruby throats here at all times.
