I’m driving down a dirt road and I see this dark cloud crossing the road — THOUSANDS of butterflies, THOUSANDS of them. I’m a delivery man, and I had to make time up. I’ll be darned if there weren’t dead butterflies littered across the highway. I’m glad to know they’re Painted Ladies instead of monarchs because they’re an endangered species and I felt so bad for running over them!
