A former police chief from Robbinsdale, Minnesota vacationing at the same resort as my twin told her he was fishing on the Whitefish chain and spotted a monarch floating on the water. He turned his boat around and plucked it out of the water. Unfortunately, it survived for only a short while in his boat. At least he tried.
