One female landed on our grapevine and began fanning wings in the sunlight. Guessing it's a premigratory monarch. We will monitor our milkweed for eggs. An abundance of pre-migration monarchs have been sighted in the greater Fort Worth area in the last 2 weeks. Reports of egg laying monarchs have been featured in local news stories this week.
