Monarch Waystation #299 reports a monarch seen flying around the native Sunflowers in the raised bed near the Bear statue in the Conservation Garden by Horticulture Curator Darl Fletcher. His staff were preparing for the native plant sale Member's preview beginning the next day, so he did not double back to check gender or to make longer observations. Truly and "on the fly" observation.
