Saw 1 immature eagle soaring over the Hudson River and arousing some ducks. Later heard the call of an eagle from the tree across the river from my viewpoint. It was a mature adult eagle. This eagle made a short flight from the tree circling over the river and back to its perch, but did not see it catch any fish. Watched and listened for a 1/2 hour or so.
This area hosts a pair of mature adult eagles and apparently their offspring.
