A hummingbird visited many Salvia in our second story windowboxes. The variety is Pyramid Red. This was the first time I spotted one nectaring on these flowers this season, though they did use them in previous years.
Separately, I saw a hummingbird stop at a sunflower, but briefly enough that I wasn't sure it had found any nectar there, and one left a cluster of scarlet runner bean flowers looking as if it had been feeding there.
