Signs of Fall

Date: 09/09/2017

Number: 1

It was a large caterpillar on my dill weed plant in my organic garden. It was there for about 5 days and now is gone? Checked on it every morning and every early evening when I got home from work. It was greenish/yellow with black stripping on it. I was concerned about the cold weather at night so I tried to lay a few "cup" plant on the top part/side of dill. It moved from one point of stem to another point on the top part of the dill plant.

Editor's note: Monarch larvae will be found on milkweed plants, though a temporary traverse across other plants does occur, monarch larvae will not stay on plants that are not milkweed.
