This was our first monarch to emerge from its chrysalis. Photo was taken about ten minutes prior to that. We released it once it was ready to fly. This was one of the four (out of ten) chrysalis that we brought inside when we were under threat of Hurrican/Tropical Storm Irma. The other six (outside) seem to be doing fine.
