Only one brief siting at about 7am, then none thereafter. I suspect that this might be my last report, so I'd like to make 2 final comments here;
Although I've planted a large number of flowers to attract hummers, my 35 or so "regulars" showed little or no
Interest in them and went right to the feeders. Only the migrants in the past 2 weeks showed some interest in nector feeding.
Comment 2; From mid July thru mid sept it's been unusually cool here in Redding, Ct. I expected my regulars toBEGIN leaving around sept 10th, but they were all gone by that date. I suspect the cool summer may have instigated their early departure. Thank you for listening.
