Adult Monarch spent a few hrs gliding around the property appeared to be a Large female. Dropping down into the flowers to nectar and then into the grass for minutes at a time.
It even flew close to me just flitting around and would then fly back to the gardens.
Late in the afternoon it lighted from the Flowers and flew up over the trees towards the South.
interesting to watch for that long a period of time (2-3 hrs.) Quite calming!
