Three monarchs, two flying across Garnet Lake and one following the nearby road.
Typically in our area of the Adirondacks we don’t see 100’s of Monarchs at any one time. Seeing three near or crossing water within ah hour time span is quite epic for us. Last time I witnessed the migration was years ago when we were canoeing on Long Lake. They just kept streaming past every few minutes. Quite a wonder to see.
