The juvenile male pictured had a collision with a glass door and was recuperating. I kept him warm and offered him nectar while he regained his senses. He hovered and flew awa after about 5 minutes. We have 12 feeders and are putting out about a gallon of nectar every two days. They've been consuming this much for about a month now. If
traffic has decreased, it's only slightly.
