Spotted many individual Monarch butterflies in Urbana and Champaign throughout the day, including 8 at Meadowbrook park in the morning, 3 at our home in Champaign mid day, and 5 (at least) at Prairie Fruits Farm on the north side of town that evening.

All butterflies were seen flying or drinking nectar individually (no roosting in groups seen). Butterflies have been easy to spot every day the past 5 days, in the extra-warm, sunny days.
