Weather: Around noon, a gentle sprinkle left almost as soon as it came, and no more wind than a soft breeze threatened to blow away stray notebook pages. In the afternoon cloud cover gradually lessened, but there was still an excellent backdrop for counting migrants. Temps ranged from the upper 60s to about 80F.

For a time it seemed like Monarchs took over the skies - 57 were tallied today!
