Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/21/2017

Number: 1

8:47a.m. It's 56 degrees with full sun and a monarch just landed on the big yellow Ligularia flowers which are on the east side of the house and in the sunniest spot in the yard in the morning. The asters are starting to fade so the Monarchs seem to be visiting other flowers. I have new black eyed susan and pink catch fly blooming and the Monarchs have been visiting those. Those catch fly are about 8 inches off the ground and the flowers are so small but the monarchs get in these. There are lots of pink anemone blooming but they don't visit those.
