Since Monday, Sept 18, 2017 I've had 11 adults emerge from chrysalis. Eight survived to fly away (two were eaten by something with only pieces of wings remaining). The picture is one of three that emerged today.

These monarchs are not raised. We have a natural habitat for Monarchs. I've had them for years, but this is an amazing year. My egg, cat, chrysalis, adult numbers are way up.
