We saw 10 or more monarchs feeding in the zinnia field at the corner of Hwy 24 and Hwy 58 in Cape Carteret. Consistent NNE winds are helping monarchs move through Eastern NC. We were able to tag 6 in about 1 hour, two of which were mating.
