We are just now seeing an abundance of Monarchs. I saw a caterpillar on some of our Milkweed two days ago. The Dallas Morning News had told people in this area to cut down any milkweed so the Monarchs will continue their journey to Mexico. After seeing the caterpillar, I can't cut down the milkweed, or it will have nothing to eat. I raised some in a butterfly cage last year because they had arrived so very late to lay eggs!
