Observed five Monarch adults at Gratwick Riverside Park in North Tonawanda. Monarchs did not seem to be moving (migrating). The sightings occurred in late afternoon from 4:30 to 5:30pm. The butterflies were feeding on small, bluish, aster flowers believed to be New England Asters. Many dozens of Painted Lady butterflies were also present.
