these were actually record by the folks who man the Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory on Peters Mountain in Monroe County WV, See their Facebook page for more info, They monitor the Raptor Migration each fall counting hundreds of Hawks Eagle Falcons etc floating along this ridge line They also count Monarchs Please go to there page for more info
