3 female/immature ruby throated hummers spotted early this morning shortly before sunrise. One was sipping nectar at a feeder, one was catching insects in a lilac tree and one feeding on a black & blue salvia. It's going to be a scorcher here today with highs in the '90s. Already 75 degrees at sunrise.
Winds from the south might keep the zippers here another day or two. Hope to have some around for another week.
