At about 1:20 PM today (9/21/17) I briefly spotted a Monarch butterfly fluttering westward about 25 feet above the ramp and behind a jet here at University Park Airport (SCE) in State College, PA.   This is similar to the report I filed on 9/10/2017, except that this butterfly didn’t have the steady tail wind that the one did on the 10th.

Today the sky was sunny with:

• Wind from the WNW at about 5 mph
• Pressure 30.13 inches
