Observed 5 female/immature ruby throated hummingbirds this evening. Either picked up 1 or 2 more migrators or more came around at same time. Very warm today with high of 94 degrees. They are still heavily preferring nectar feeders but there was much more action on black & blue salvias and firecrackers than last couple days. Observed last hummer at a feeder at 7:22 pm. Several minutes earlier than last evening.
