Locust trees dropping their leaves all over our deck. The apple trees have beautiful dark red apples and leaves turning yellow. In the fields, corn stalks are brown and soy fields bright yellow. All the roses have stopped flowering. The hedgerows are full of purple heliotrope and yellow rudbeckia.
